For you see, I’m unclear on some of the other passages.
Exodus 21:7 What would be a fair price these days for selling my daughter into slavery? She is college educated
and attractive; the 20 Shekels recommended in the Bible does not seem enough.
Exodus 35:2 Must I kill all of the WalMart employees on Sunday by myself or can I get help? There are lots of them
working there that day
Leviticus 7:26-27 After eating a rare Porterhouse at Outback, does “shall be cutoff from his people” mean
disconnecting my cell phone service, or is it something else more serious?
Leviticus 11:6-8 Can I remain clean if I wear gloves while playing football? Are footballs still made of pigskin?
Leviticus 11:10 Is eating shellfish a lesser abomination than homosexuality? I love going to 'Red Lobster"
Leviticus 15:19-24 How do I ask (without getting slapped) if a woman is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness
before I decide if I can sit in the chair she just left?
Leviticus 20:10 If we don’t have a lethal injection chamber in our neighborhood, may the adulterers just be stoned
to death? We have adulterers, and we have stones.
Leviticus 20:18 If my wife starts menstruating in the middle of the night while she was sleeping naked next to me, I
know I will be cut off from my people. Does my people include my employer or is it just the immediate family?
Leviticus 21:20 How close to the alter may we sit if we need glasses for reading or driving?
Leviticus 25:44 If Texas were to secede from the Union, may I then own Oklahomans the same as the Bible implies I
can now own Mexicans?

This section is offered as a bit of humor to help us deal with those who attack us using the
bible as their weapon of choice. I believe that religion should preach love and acceptance of
all people. I cannot accept religion that preaches hate and condemnation of those who are
